Pre-enrolment and registration

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school. Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens on February 2. The deadline for all families to choose their school for the 2026-2027 school year is 4 p.m. on March 25, 2026.

Our Kindergarten Open House will be February 25, 2026 5 - 6 p.m.

Current students will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year.Sign in to your parent SchoolZone account between 8 a.m. on February 2 and 4 p.m. on March 25 to select your child’s preferred school. Whether your child is staying at the same school or changing schools, all students need to pre-enrol. Knowing how many students to expect helps schools prepare for the upcoming school year.

For the 2025 - 2026 school year, King Edward School is full in planned classes in the regular program. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. We will now only accept resident students in Grade 1 - 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
